Indications that a substantive Coach for the Super Eagles will be named next week is growing ever strong but the front runner for the “biggest” Coaching job on the continent of Africa remains a mystery.French man Paul Le Guen and Milovan Rajevac are the two names that have constantly appeared in the race.

La Guen, a former coach of the Cameroon national team is even believed to have a deal in principle which could see him earn ₦16.2m per month.

Paul Bassey, who is also a member of the Technical Committee of the NFF, however maintains that several candidates have applied for the job and a definite decision pronouncement will be made next week.

The Eagles job is currently occupied by interim coach Salisu Yusuf and had been previously managed by Stephen Keshi, Daniel Amokachi, Sunday Oliseh and Samson Siasia between June 2015 and June 2016.
